Evaluation of a Continuous-Flow Photo-Bromination Using N-Bromosuccinimide for Use in Chemical Manufacture

A continuous-flow photo-bromination using N-Bromosuccinimide is presented by the researchers at CSIRO Manufacturing. A fully continuous setup is enabled by Zaiput’s technology, used in the liquid-liquid separation step.

“Using a membrane separator, it was possible to combine the photo-bromination reactor with in-line liquid-liquid extraction in an integrated multi-stage operation, with minimal manual handling between steps”
